Clinique 3-step Customized Skin Care System, as the name indicates, is a three-step skin treatment recommended for every skin type. The set comprises facial cleansers, exfoliators, and moisturisers. Clinique brand
The Clinique brand was founded in 1968 in New York. It started its activity with producing make-up and skin care cosmetics. Clinique products are allergy tested and unscented. Clinique cosmetics were created for individual skin types and their needs, based on research and knowledge of dermatologists.
3-step Skin Care System
3-step Skin Care System consists of 30 ml facial cleanser, a 60 ml exfoliating liquid and a 50 ml moisturising gel or emulsion.
Step 1. Facial Cleansers
It is a face cleanser in a liquid form (or a bar, alternatively), that cleanses the skin and gives a feeling of freshness. It almost does not lather, it is easily rinsed and does not leave a residue on the skin. The product is very efficient – a small drop is enough to wash your face and neck. In addition, it removes makeup, including mascara, so there’s no need to use another makeup remover.
Step 2. Exfoliators
It is an alcohol-based liquid that replaces the toner (but it is certainly not a toner). It removes impurities and dead skin cells. The liquid exfoliates strongly, so do not wipe the same skin part more than once. In some cases, just wipe the zone T.
Step 3. Moisturisers
Depending on the type of skin, the third step of Clinque Skin Care System offers a moisturizing gel or a moisturizing lotion. Both cosmetics are easy to spread and are absorbed quickly. They soften and moisturize the skin, and they do not clog pores.
Clinique 3-step Customized Skin Care System for every skin type
The 3-step Clinique treatment can be used by all women regardless of skin type. The Clinique brand has not created one universal recipe for individual cosmetics, because it certainly would not meet the needs of all skin types. Hence, the division into four types of skin:
- skin type I: very dry or dry skin,
- skin type II: dry combination
- skin type III: combination oily
- skin type IV: oily
All three cosmetics should be used in the morning and evening.
